CREAM is a filthy, funny, queer body-horror about desire, shame, streaming culture and becoming consumable.
A viral stream.
A very bad crush.
After an X-rated stream of nineteen-year-old Zac goes viral, he becomes the unwilling star of Blue Shore’s dirtiest fantasies. Zac wants to dissolve into the lino of the holiday camp’s greasy spoon where he works. Instead, Zac’s manager transfers him to the ice cream kiosk on Blue Shore Bay where notorious streamer and bad-boy crush Jake is waiting behind the counter.
Jake’s taking a break from streaming to flog dodgy ice cream. Every flavour is spiked.
Lime
Lime blasts you into space.
Straw
berry
Strawberry makes you horny.
Coconut
cream
Coconut cream makes desire real.
When Jake doesn’t treat Zac like everybody else does, Zac imagines the impossible: maybe Jake fancies him for real, and not because of the viral stream.
UNDER ALL THE GOOP IS A LONELY BOY DESPERATE TO BE WANTED, WHICH MAKES THE FILTH UNEXPECTEDLY HEARTBREAKING.
FANTASY
LAD.
CASH
COW.
So Zac joins the hustle, selling cream to everybody who will buy it. Then something starts bubbling beneath his skin, a dead girl comes back to life, and Ryan Made, the streamer responsible for Zac’s infamy, returns with an agenda. Worst of all, Jake’s favourite ice cream flavour is running low, and Jake is deteriorating before Zac’s eyes.
To save the Jake he desires, Zac must uncover why the dead won’t stay dead and what Ryan Made really made him for before Blue Shore transforms him from fantasy lad to a hulking, grotesque cash cow.

THE BODY HORROR PROVOKES ACTUAL GAGGING. THEN THE ABSURDITY MAKES YOU LAUGH BEFORE YOU’VE QUITE RECOVERED.
RELENTLESS SEX, BODILY FLUIDS AND GROTESQUE TRANSFORMATIONS. THE EXCESS IS EXHAUSTING, WITH BARELY A MOMENT TO COME UP FOR AIR.

LIKE AN ADULT SWIM CARTOON AFTER A PSYCHEDELIC MELTDOWN: FILTHY, HILARIOUS, ANATOMICALLY WRONG, AND IMPOSSIBLE TO STOP READING.
CUM, PISS AND SHIT EVERYWHERE — WITH SOMETHING DISTURBINGLY SHARP TO SAY ABOUT THE INTERNET TURNING PEOPLE INTO PRODUCTS.
AN ORGY ON A ROTTEN ACID TRIP, DROWNING IN BODILY WASTE. SPECTACULARLY UNPLEASANT, EVEN WHEN THE ENDING LANDS.
A SUNBURNT SEASIDE NIGHTMARE WHERE DODGY ICE CREAM, WARPED DESIRE AND STREAMER CULTURE CURDLE INTO SOMETHING SPECTACULARLY DISGUSTING.
PSYCHEDELIC, HORNY CARTOON CHAOS THAT KEEPS YANKING REALITY AWAY JUST AS THE STORY STARTS MAKING A KIND OF SENSE.
SO MUCH SEX AND BODILY WASTE THAT THE WHOLE THING BECOMES AN ASSAULT ON THE SENSES.
NOT REMOTELY A PLEASANT READ, BUT THE SHOCKS AND MOMENTS OF TENDERNESS MAKE PUTTING IT DOWN STRANGELY DIFFICULT.
IMPOSSIBLE TO TELL WHAT’S REAL, SOMETIMES IMPOSSIBLE TO FOLLOW, YET THE FRANTIC ABSURDITY STILL PRODUCES HORRIFIED LAUGHTER.
A SLEAZY SEAFRONT, A STREAMING OBSESSION, AND A BODY THAT WON’T STOP CHANGING. SUMMER HAS GONE HORRIBLY WRONG.
THE GRAPHIC EXCESS IS HARD TO STOMACH. THE SUNLIT NIGHTMARE IS STRANGELY ABSORBING. THE ENDING HURTS.
QUEER LONGING, CARTOON LOGIC AND A SICKENING AMOUNT OF GOOP — ALL COLLIDING IN ONE VERY TRIPPY TRIP TO THE SEASIDE.
